Did you know the Census Bureau spent $22.7 million on promotional products this year? All in hopes that a refrigerator magnet, or something similar, would remind people to mail in their Census forms.
Tim Andrews, President of ASI, gives some great insight into the cost effectiveness of promotional items and how they can actually save taxpayers money in his blog here.
Do you have a client whose customers would benefit from having service reminders or important information printed on a product?
Here are some ideas…
- Schools: Why not give parents a pen to keep in their purse/briefcase with all important phone numbers on it? School nurse, Office, After Care, etc.
- City Governments: Send out jotter notepads with all of the numbers of utility companies to new residents.
- Banks: Provide calculators to new account holders to keep their numbers straight!
- Healthcare: First aid kits are perfect giveaways to hand out at health fairs and to patients to show appreciation. Print emergency numbers and information to keep everyone safe.
We’d love to hear more ideas – submit them to us in the comments section!
